Gruesome details revealed in local teen's murder
New search warrants issued on Thursday revealed disturbing new details about the murder of a 17-year-old Jordan High School student.

DURHAM (WTVD) -- New search warrants issued on Thursday revealed disturbing new details about the murder of a 17-year-old Jordan High School student.

Kelton Fox is accused of killing his ex-girlfriend Tierra Hall. Hall's body was found Saturday behind a vacant home for sale on Trotter Ridge Road.

Durham Police connected Hall's ex-boyfriend to the stabbing by using at least two different sources of surveillance video to map out a timeline.

According to the warrants, officers noticed the words "King K Tha Savage" written on a door of the home. Investigators say "King K Tha Savage" is part of Fox's nickname on his Facebook page. Warrants also say Fox's mother either owned or occupied the home at some point.

Warrants indicate police seized security video from Jordan High showing Fox grabbing Hall's cell phone, before the two left school at 12:25 p.m. walking up Garrett Road. The video also shows Fox returning to school about 30 minutes later with his hands pulled into his sleeves.

Police also seized another video from a neighbor near the crime scene which shows Fox and Hall walking down Trotter Ridge Road together. Fox is later seen leaving alone.

The warrants stated when Fox returned to school he went straight to a bathroom where police later "meticulously processed" and found "the presence of blood."

Fox is in the Durham County Jail without bond.

If convicted of first-degree murder, he's not eligible for the death penalty because he's younger than 18.
