Man charged in connection with August's fatal downtown Raleigh shooting

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Raleigh police have charged 32-year-old Bryce Jocaroll Williams with murder in connection with the August death of Ramon Antonio Shaw.

In the early morning hours of August 20, officers found the 23-year-old father lying on the ground following a shooting outside of Rumors Nightclub on West South Street. Shaw was rushed to WakeMed Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Another man, 30-year-old Joshua Jamar Vines, was also injured during the shooting.

Williams, who was taken into custody Wednesday night without incident, is currently being held at the Wake County Detention Center on murder and attempted murder charges.
