Man shot to death south of Fayetteville

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, NC (WTVD) -- The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal shooting in the 47-hundred block of Hickory Ridge Road off Hypony Trail south of Fayetteville.

Deputies said a man was shot several times. The victim was identified as 34-year-old Robert Regins.

Regins was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities are still searching for a suspect.
