Man wanted for Fayetteville home invasions captured in Connecticut

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- A man wanted for a series of violent home invasions in Fayetteville is now in custody.

Barcardi Robinson was arrested Friday in Connecticut after briefly holding two teenagers hostage while trying to get away from federal marshals.

Fayetteville police said Robinson and an accomplice stormed two homes last month and held elderly people at gunpoint as they robbed them.

Robinson is also a suspect in a home invasion in Spring Lake.

At last report, Robinson was in jail in Connecticut. He's scheduled to be arraigned there on Monday.
