POLICE CHASE

A dramatic police chase in Houston came to an end when three men in a car stopped in the middle of a freeway and got out and ran.

Two of them jumped over a concrete barrier and fled into nearby woods.

Their escape was short-lived. All were captured within a couple of hours.

REPORTER GETS GATORADE BATH

A reporter in Dallas got a Gatorade bath when Josh Hamilton's Texas Ranger teammates attempted to douse him with coolers full of the drink.

The team was celebrating Hamilton's walk-off pinch hit double.

Field reporter Emily Jones was attempting to interview the Raleigh native when she got caught in the crossfire.

But like any true professional, once she got over the shock, Jones continued right on with the interview.

CITY STREET PADDLEBOARDING

Rain in New Jersey caused flash flooding on the streets of Ocean City, so one resident decided to grab his paddleboard.

He looked comfortable until vehicles started making waves.

DEER FREED FROM SOCCER GOAL

Enterprising police officers in Decorah, Iowa used scissors to free a deer caught in the net of a soccer goal.

The animal panicked and got its neck wrapped in the netting numerous times and could have easily died.

One officer held the animal down while another cut the net. The deer then got up and raced away.
