ROLLS ROYCE GOES 'BOOM'

A perfectly good 1969 Silver Shadow Rolls Royce was blown to bits for art.

Los Angeles Photographer Tyler Shields bought the luxury car for a mere $50,000, took it out into the Mojave Desert and blew it up.

He's destroyed a number of luxury items in the past. Some call it a statement on materialism, but Shields actually makes big money doing it.

STARTLING LIGHTNING STRIKE

Amazing video as a lightning strike is caught on camera in Arlington, Virginia Wednesday.

The person videotaping was startled by the strike and almost dropped the camera.

No one was hurt.

SUN JACK-O-LANTERN

NASA is delivering a treat for Halloween.

New images of the sun sort of look like a grinning jack-o-lantern.

The image was captured on Oct. 8 by NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory.

Experts say there's no cause for alarm, the bright spots that look like the eyes, nose and a mouth are active regions on the sun.

IDENTICAL TRIPLETS

One Oregon family is seeing triple.

Mason, Hunter and Jaxson are not only identical triplets, but they also have the same birth time - all three came out in the same minute.

They are so identical that their mom said she is considering painting some toes to tell them apart.

What makes the boys even more special is that they were naturally conceived.
