CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- Cumberland County Sheriff's deputies are searching for a man accused of fondling himself inside a library.
Authorities said the incident happened around 10:30 a.m. on July 7 inside a study room at the Bordeaux Library on Village Drive. Three adults witnessed the incident, including a woman who taped the man on her cell phone. Authorities said the man looked straight into her camera, as he fondled himself while holding a cooking magazine.
Library staff didn't report the incident until early August. This week, after authorities were unable to locate the man on their own, they released a still image of him from the cell phone video.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately six feet tall and weighing about 200 pounds.
He was last seen wearing dark colored shorts, an olive green button up shirt and a black baseball cap with a gold colored emblem in the center.
Anyone who can identify the suspect is urged to contact the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office at (910) 323-1500.
