Person in hospital after hit-and-run crash on Andrews Street in Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Fayetteville police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that happened close to Ramsey Street early Sunday morning.

Police say two people were walking down Andrews Street when one of them was hit by a car and the car drove off.

At last report, the victim was in critical condition.

Eyewitnesses told ABC11 the person was young.

Right now, police do not have a description of the vehicle.
