Residents oppose gas station plan
Neighbors in Hope Valley Farm area say they have concerns

DURHAM (WTVD) -- A new gas station gets the green light from the City of Durham, but people living in the area are pumping the brakes on the construction raising concerns about traffic and a possible increase in crime.

The station is slated to go up in the Hope Valley Farm neighborhood.

As Anthony Wilson reports, there's also concern about an environmental impact because the store will be built close to Third Fork Creek.
