Police discover body in Durham

DURHAM -- Durham police responded to reports of a dead body found in Durham on Sunday.

Police said they discovered a man's body around 12:30 p.m. in the 1800 block of Fidelity Drive.

The victim has been identified as 29-year-old Thomas George Docher of Durham.

Police have confirmed that Docher was shot and killed. They are investigating the case as a homicide.

It is not yet known if the shooting was random.
