Police: Woman shot inside SUV in Durham

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Durham police are investigating a shooting that happened Friday night.

Authorities said it happened just before 10 p.m. at the Handy Mart, located near the intersection of Fayetteville Road and Burlington Avenue.

Our crew on the scene said someone shot into a white SUV and a woman was hit.

Medics rushed the unidentified woman to the hospital, but her injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.

ABC11 is working to find out if police have found the shooter.
