RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Two people arrested and charged with vandalizing the Raleigh Police Memorial will have to do community service, and make a donation to the Raleigh Police Memorial Fund.

The memorial outside the Raleigh Government Complex was found defaced earlier this summer. Police blamed the damage on skateboarders.

Police arrested 22-year old Ryan Timms and 27-year-old Jordan Adams.

Both faced a judge Monday, where Timms and Adams agreed to a deferred prosecution.

They must complete 75 hours of community service, and each make a donation of $750 to the Police Memorial Fund.
