Raleigh police investigate report of woman screaming in car

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Raleigh police are investigating a report that a woman was seen screaming in the back seat of a vehicle on North Raleigh Boulevard.

Police say the vehicle was seen around 2 p.m. Sunday in a shopping center in the 1100 block of North Raleigh Boulevard.

The car was described as a silver or gray 2000-2003 Acura RL or TL sedan. It had a 30-day temporary license plate, and the first two numbers on the license tag were 2 and 0.

The woman who was reported screaming is described as a black female between the ages of 18 and 20.

She wore blue jeans and a dark blue or black T-shirt with white letters on the front.

She is 5'5", possible shorter, with a heavyset build.

Investigators believe a black woman was driving the vehicle. She may be in her late 20s to early 30s, with a thin build. Investigators believe she wore a black dress that may have an orange-colored pattern.

Police say a third person in the vehicle was a black male in his mid-30s to early 40s, wearing blue jeans (or blue denim shorts) and a blue or black T-shirt. He is 5'7" and weighs about 230 pounds.

Anyone with information that could help Raleigh police locate the vehicle or the people involved should call 911.
