DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- A Durham man has been charged in connection with a shooting Friday that sent him and his stepson to the hospital.

Durham Police say 28-year-old Christopher Graham faces several charges, including assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.

Graham and his 6-year-old stepson were shot around 5:05 a.m. at their home on Pilot Street.

Investigators are still trying to determine the specific circumstances surrounding the shooting.

Graham was treated for a gunshot wound to his foot. His stepson suffered serious injuries but the injuries do not appear to be life-threatening at this time.

Graham has been placed in Durham County Jail under a $500,000 bond.

He is also charged with assault by pointing a gun, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, injury to real property and discharging a firearm within the city limits.
