Suspect sought in 2 armed robberies in Apex
Police are trying to identify men seen in surveillance photos from two Apex armed robbery cases.

APEX, N.C. (WTVD) -- Police are trying to identify men seen in surveillance photos from two Apex armed robbery cases.

Rewards are offered.

The first holdup happened Nov. 28 at 7:12 p.m. at a Subway restaurant in the 800 block of East Williams Street.

The robber implied he was armed and got away on foot with more than $300. Police said the man was in his 50s, dark skinned, 6'2" to 6'4", 220-250 pounds, and was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and black sneakers.

The second robbery happened Dec. 8 at 7:20 p.m. at the ABC store in the 1400 block of East Williams.

In that holdup, the robber also implied he had a weapon and got away with more than $500. The suspect was described as in his 50s, dark skinned, 5'9" to 6'0" with shoulder-length dreadlocks or braids, wearing a dark blue baseball hat, black hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and black sneakers.
