Search continues for missing Raleigh woman
Carolyn Sue Fox was last seen sometime in the summer of 2016.

WENDELL, NC (WTVD) -- The Wake County Sheriff's Office is looking for a 74-year-old woman who hasn't been seen by her family since this summer.

Deputies don't have a specific date for the last time that Carolyn Sue Fox was last seen, but said it was at her home in the 6500 block of Turnipseed Road near Wendell.

Neighbors said Fox lived at the home with her adult son.

Fox has brown eyes, gray hair, is about 5 feet 6 inches tall, and weighs about 118 pounds. She also has scars on her right knee.

"It's very sad. I hope that they find her. I hope that she's OK," said Liz Boykin, a neighbor. "And that's really strange. And I'm not really sure, I haven't seen her in a really long time."

Anyone with information is asked to call the Wake County Sheriff's Office at (919) 856-6911.
