Woman shot inside car in Durham

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Police said a woman in her 20s was found shot in a vehicle on Normandy Street at Dallas Street around 11:05 a.m. Tuesday.

At last report, police said the woman was in stable condition. The victim has not been identified.

Based on a preliminary investigation, it does not appear to be a random incident and it does not appear to have been a drive-by shooting.

Detectives were trying to learn what happened.
