Woman treated for smoke inhalation after Fayetteville fire

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- A woman was rushed to the hospital Thursday evening after a fire at a Fayetteville home.

The blaze happened on Littlestone Court in the Lakeridge Estates subdivision.

Officials said it took 20 minutes to bring the flames under control.

Crews treated the woman for smoke inhalation and took her to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

A total of three adults and a child were forced out of the house.

Firefighters were investigating the cause of the fire.
