FLOODING STRANDS DRIVERS
Parts of Houston, Texas are under water this morning after severe weather dumped torrential rainfall on the city.
The situation is so critical there officials are urging people to not leave their homes.
Flash Flood Warnings are in effect in the area.
BRAZEN PURSE SNATCHING
Now to a brazen purse snatching caught on tape at a New Hampshire Walmart.
In the video, an elderly woman was seen leaving the store as a suspect in an orange shirt, who is entering the store, turns around and follows her out.
As the woman puts her bags in the car, the teenager grabs her purse from the cart and takes off.
Police posted the video surveillance to their Facebook page, and it took less than two hours for a witness to call and identify the 16-year-old suspect.
VOLCANO ERUPTS
Wolf volcano on Isabela Island in the Galapagos erupted early Monday morning, sending fire and ash into the sky.
The island is home to the only population of pink iguanas in the world.
The national park service reports the eruption did not pose a risk to the iguanas or to the island's human population.
DOG'S WILD RIDE
A dog appeared to be having the ride of his life when it was seen strapped to the back of a motorcycle.
The pooch was captured on video racing through traffic on I-15 in Poway, California, at 70 miles per hour.
An eyewitness said the dog was looking at him, whether he was silently pleading for help is open to debate.
