NAACP concerned about voter ID confusion
The NC NAACP says some voters are complaining to the group about their lack of understanding of Voter ID at the polls.
State NAACP President Dr. William Barber says he's witnessed the confusion first hand.
He said that when he went to go vote Thursday in Goldsboro, he didn't see any signage on the walls about voter ID, and poll workers spoke inaccurately about the new law.
Barber also said Voter ID brochures may confuse some voters.
"The average voter could be turned off or turned around," Barber said.
Republicans and the State Board of Elections disagree.
"We have seen no reports of people having problems with Voter ID," said Dallas Woodhouse, executive director of the NC GOP. "They are happy to show it. It makes them feel like their vote is secure."
The NC Board of Elections released a statement saying:
"The State Board of Elections requires placement of posters at each polling site and we have worked extensively training county directors, providing them with the tools and materials to properly inform voters about voter Id and reasonable impediment."
Another issue raised by the NAACP is racist undertones from John McGraw, the man accused of punching Rakeem Jones during a Donald Trump rally in Fayetteville. On Thursday, deputies charged McGraw with communicating threats - after a video surfaced of McGraw threatening next time "to kill him."

Barber says the incident breeds more violence and should be stopped.
"This must be investigated not just as assault but as a hate crime under state and federal law."
The victim in the attack is filing a complaint with the NAACP.
