Ways to save at Advanced AutoParts
In today's MoneySaver Amber Rupinta shows us how to save at a national autopart store

Car repairs can add up, so any work you can do yourself can really help you save. And when it comes to buying parts and supplies for DIY car work, Advance Auto Parts has some savings and rewards programs that can help add mileage to your budget.

For projects that may require specialty tools, there is a Free Loaner Tool option that allows customers free access to about 60 specialty tools. Customers pay a deposit that covers the price of the tool and have 90 days to use it. Once it's returned, a full refund is given.

"Customers can come in and purchase and turn it in, in any condition, as long as all the parts are there, for all their money back," explained Advance Auto Parts GM Zachary Gamsey.

"We have a radiator pressure tester tool which is $200 which we loan out. You come back and get your money back on it instead of having to invest on it permanently. So, it's a great way we try to help," Gamsey said.

There is also a military discount for active and retired service members that will get you 10 percent off, a price match guarantee program, and a new speed perks rewards program.

And, through the Refer a Friend Program, you send a link to friends and family and if they make a purchase from the link they get $30 off an $80 purchase and you get a $10 reward.
