DURHAM (WTVD) -- Local food truck owners paid it forward Tuesday by feeding those in need at the Durham Rescue Mission.
Homeless men residing at the Mission on East Main Street were treated to lunch courtesy of Gussy's Greek Truck, Not Just Icing, Inc, CJ's Street Food, STUFT; Gourmet Stuffed Potatoes, and Chick-N-Que.
The exclusive lunch began as a desire to give back to the community, according to organizers. The owners of the food trucks teamed up to provide a free meal for residents in an effort to "Pay it Forward."
