RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Mothers Against Drunk Driving kicked off its annual Red Ribbon campaign in North Carolina Thursday.

The group says some of the most dangerous days of the year on the road are between Thanksgiving and New Year's Day.

It wants everyone celebrating the season with alcohol to designate a driver.
