SAN FRANCISCO -- The San Francisco Giants are trying to take Game 5 of the World Series. Before the game, the team honored one of its most famous and beloved fans, Robin Williams with a touching tribute.

The late comedian's son Zak threw out the ceremonial first pitch to his father's very good friend, baseball fanatic and fellow comedian Billy Crystal.

Even baseball fans from across McCovey Cove enjoyed the moment.

Inside AT&T Park just before the game, Giants fans all agreed this is a pivotal game in the series.

ABC7 News talked with a father-son duo about their excitement of being at the game. They both made it clear, the son is not wearing Royals' blue, but rather Buster Posey's all-star national jersey.

"People came off a little strong at first, but then you just show them the back side of the jersey and they say, oh even cooler then because it's an all-star jersey," Bobby Ward said.

"The last World Series game that I went to was in 1962 World Series, the seventh game when the Giants lost to the Yankees," John Ward said.

Ward is clearly hoping for a much better turn out Sunday night, than that game he watched so many years ago. The game has been going on for over an hour now and Giants fans are hoping that this will be a decisive win Sunday night and are hoping to go to Kansas City for Game 6 with a lot of momentum.

On Saturday night, some fans left early maybe because of the rain or because the Giants were losing. They missed quite a show as the team came roaring back to win 11-4.

Fans are hoping for another huge offensive explosion on Sunday.

San Francisco police are on alert to make sure everyone is on their best behavior.

Some fans gathered inside Pedro's Cantina for a pregame warm-up of food and drink and advice for the team.

"Find your inner champion and win this thing right. You got to do it Hunter Pence style, eat some kale and get it going," Tim Lewis said.

Giants fans are pumped for Game 5, following an amazing 11-4 victory over the Royals Saturday.

Eric Weinke who gave his wife Candace World Series tickets for her birthday said, "keep the momentum going."

"Tonight we want a two nothing shutout. Two nothing, get it done early, shut them out," he added.

The buzz around AT&T Park is electric. Tickets for Game 5 sold out, but that didn't stop Matt Cox and his sign from making a last minute appeal.

"Came here trying to get a ticket, hopefully it will work. Trying to find another genuine fan and have a little good karma going on hopefully," Cox said.

The dugout store is packed with fans grabbing all the gear they can get.

Singer Malcolm Catchatoorian bought a flag and pennant. He cancelled a gig in San Mateo so he could be at the game.

"This is more important, it's once-in-a-lifetime, but I'll take that back, every two years," Catchatoorian said.

Every corner around AT&T Park has Giants stuff for sale. One of the t-shirts for sale read "Keep calm and just panik." Something Royals fans are trying not to do.

Royals fan Easton Smith said they were doing good in the beginning and then something went wrong on Saturday.

"We got heckled a little bit here for being Royals fans, but for the most part the crowd is pretty good. It's really live in there, it's loud, it's fun. Yeah, I think we're going to take it to them today and beat the San Francisco Bumgarners, I mean Giants," Jarom Smith said.
