CARY (WTVD) -- Authorities in Cary had to close the eastbound ramp to Interstate 40 after a tanker overturned during the Tuesday morning commute.
It happened just after 7:30 a.m. at the on-ramp from Harrison Avenue.
Details surrounding the accident have not been released, but images from the scene showed a tanker truck on its side along the shoulder of the ramp. It is unclear if anyone was hurt.
It took crews several hours to clear the scene.
