GULF COAST FLOODING
Flash floods stranded some drivers along the Mississippi Gulf Coast this weekend.
Heavy rains covered many roads making them impassible.
SPIDERMAN CLIMBS
The building climber known as Spiderman has scaled one of Dubai's tallest skyscrapers.
Relying on just chalk and sticky tape on his fingertips to help him, Alain Robert climbed the 75-story building in just 70 minutes.
VAN GOGH RE-CREATION
Right here in the Triangle, volunteers from the National Alliance on Mental Illness planted hundreds of artificial irises at Rex Hospital to re-create the famous Van Gogh painting, "The Irises."
Van Gogh created the painting when he was institutionalized for mental illness. The display covers about a half-acre and will remain there until next Sunday.
GIANT TREAT
And finally, some University of Wisconsin students spent their weekend trying to break a Guinness world record for biggest dessert.
A group of about 50 students made a giant Rice Krispies treat. They started mixing Friday afternoon and they finished Sunday.
The group says they shattered the old record of 10,000 pounds. They claim their Rice Krispies treat weighted in at 15,000 pounds.
Guinness still needs to verify the record.
