What's Ahead

Although we may see some clouds across the viewing area for the holiday, ABC11 Meteorologist Steve Stewart said said we are not at risk for severe weather.

Stewart said there's a chance in some areas for isolated storms popping up, but there is a very low chance of Mother Nature's fireworks interfering with the celebratory ones.

Stewart said Sunday will be a much more active day in terms of rain and storms across the viewing area, with temperatures in the 80s.
