Man arrested after shooting, standoff in Durham

DURHAM (WTVD) -- A man is in custody after a shooting led to a standoff with police late Saturday night.

It happened just before 11 p.m. on Granby Street.

Police said a woman was shot and when officers arrived, the man barricaded himself in a house.

He was eventually arrested. He may have had a relationship with the woman, police said. She was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Their identities were not immediately available.
