Andrea Faust, 41, was supposed to face a judge on Monday.

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- A Durham woman accused of murdering one of her young children and attempting to kill another made her first court appearance on Tuesday from a hospital bed.
Her original court date was scheduled for Monday, but was moved due to a medical emergency.
Andrea Faust, 41, faced a judge after Durham police say they found her two small children unresponsive on Thursday.
She is charged with one count of first-degree murder and one count of attempted first-degree murder.
During the appearance her husband spoke and pleaded with his wife not to hurt herself again.
He added that the case is a tragic case of a mental health breakdown and said the second child is expected to make a full recovery.
Durham police say they found both children unresponsive at a home on Chartwell Court near NC 98 on Thursday and that both kids are under the age of five.
One of the kids later died.
According to records, Faust is a dental hygienist who has experience teaching at local colleges and last week her next-door neighbor told Eyewitness News she seemed to be under more stress than normal before the incident.
