Durham crash leaves one person with serious injuries

DURHAM, North Carolina (WTVD) -- One person suffered serious injuries during a crash Saturday morning on Cornwallis Road near the American Tobacco Trail in Durham.

The driver of the vehicle lost control and hit a boulder before smashing into a tree.

It took crews about half an hour to get the person out.

The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
