Woman charged after stabbing at Raleigh nightclub
Dominique Gail Worrell, 25, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Raleigh police have charged a woman in a stabbing early Monday at a nightclub.

It happened around 3:30 a.m. just after Flashbacks Sports Bar and Lounge closed.

ABC11 has learned an employee at the Capital Boulevard club was stabbed following an altercation at the front of the building.

The victim was critically injured and taken to the hospital.

Dominique Gail Worrell, 25, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.

Monday's incident isn't the first time police have been called to the sports bar. Earlier this year, a man was killed in the parking lot following a shooting.

The state ABC Commission later suspended the Raleigh club's permits after learning the fatal shooting involved club employees and a customer.

Authorities have said the business has held ABC permits since October 2011 and has been the reported scene of gunshots, drug violations, and numerous fights since that time.
