1 dead, 1 injured after shooting in Wayne County

WAYNE COUNTY (WTVD) -- A shooting on Saturday night in Wayne County left one man dead and another in the hospital, officials said.

Officers were dispatched to Sleepy Creek Road in Dudley just after 10 p.m. after reports of shots fired.

When they got there, they found 47-year-old Carlos Cesar Vasquez Luna already dead.

Alfred Garcias, 25, was also shot. He was taken to the hospital, but his condition is unknown.

Authorities did not release information about a possible suspect.
