Bumbling burglar uses beer keg to break in
QUEENSLAND, Australia (WTVD) -- Surveillance video posted by Howl at the Moon bar in Surfers Paradise in Queensland, Australia shows a burglar's rather bizarre break-in.
The bar's owners jokingly asked if anyone recognized "this idiot."
Security cameras were rolling as he threw an empty beer keg at the door. On his third attempt to break the glass, he was able to create a gaping hole.
Next, he decided to wriggle through the hole head first - looking very acrobatic - as he wiggled his way through - cigarette in his mouth - and fell to the floor.
At that moment, he realized he could have just walked in through the door because he had broken the door frame and the door was open.
Once inside, he wandered around but eventually left after realizing he couldn't get any beer.
"We were broken into at 3.30am this morning, if that's what you would call it. The things people would do for a drink," the bar owners wrote on Facebook.
