Man shot to death inside Fayetteville home; police searching for suspects

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- A man was killed early Sunday morning inside a Fayetteville home, police said.

It happened around 5:25 a.m. in the 5000 block of Blayne Drive.

Responding officers found the victim inside the home with a gunshot wound and an unharmed female victim. Investigators said that multiple unknown suspects shot the man.

The suspects reportedly broke into the home and fled after the shooting.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. He was identified as Karlos Bembury, 42.
