Fayetteville police investigate fatal shooting at house party

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- A house party in Fayetteville escalated to a terrifying level Saturday night when shots were fired.

The gathering was in the 600 block of Prestige Boulevard. According to police, around 11:30 p.m. an argument erupted, and gunshots were fired.

Bryce Marcel Lee, 22, was hit. He was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where he later died.

Detectives are actively investigating the shooting and are requesting anyone who may have been at the party to contact them.
