DURHAM (WTVD) -- Durham police have arrested Major Edwards Jr., 50, of Durham and charged him with robbing a SunTrust Bank just before noon Friday in the 1500 block of North Gregson Street.

Police said Edwards entered the bank and handed a teller a note demanding money, and threatening the use of a weapon. However, no weapon was displayed.
