Teen drowns at Lake Gaston

LAKE GASTON, N.C. (WTVD) -- A teenage male drowned Sunday afternoon at Lake Gaston, according to a Facebook post from the Gaston Volunteer Fire Department.

They said scuba divers searched for about 10 minutes near where he was last and were able to recover his body.

No word yet on his identity.

The Northampton County Sheriff's Office is leading an investigation.
