GARNER -- Fire broke out at a home on Mountain Laurel Drive in western Wake County near Garner around 3 p.m. Wednesday.

When firefighters arrived, heavy flames were pouring from the home and most of the first floor was burning.

Four people were inside at the time. They smelled smoke and got out. No injuries were reported.

The viewer said the fire trucks kept the school bus from going down the street, so Trooper JL Taylor gathered up the kids and got them to where they needed to go safely.
