Two die in Sampson County home fire

CLINTON, North Carolina -- The Sampson County Sheriff's Office has released the names of a man and woman who died in an early-morning home fire east of Clinton.

Investigators said 68-year-old James Willis Hollingsworth and 58-year-old Gwendolyn Taylor Jones were found in the home on RA Lane around 3 a.m.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, but arson is not suspected.
