UNC police make arrest in dorm break-in investigation

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WTVD) -- Police have made an arrest in connection with two dorm room burglaries in Chapel Hill.

Thomas Dusek, 18, is facing several charges including first-degree burglary and larceny.

Campus police said he is not connected to the university.

Dusek is charged with stealing from students in the Ehringhaus Residence Hall.

Police said the victims were on two different floors and reported someone entering their rooms while they were sleeping, and taking cash from their wallets.

Authorities said no one was hurt.
