Van hits cars, light pole before crashing into house

DURHAM (WTVD) -- It was a rough wake-up call for one homeowner in Durham early Sunday morning.

Police tell ABC11 that a van lost control, hit other cars and a light pole before crashing into a house on Great Bend Drive.

The side of the house was damaged, what appeared to be the gas meter, was disconnected from the building.

The van was significantly damaged as well.

It is unclear what caused the accident, but no major injuries were reported.
