FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) -- Family and friends gathered Saturday for an emotional tribute to a 17-year-old girl who lost her life in a head-on crash.
The vigil for Erika Cogdell was held at 71st High School in Fayetteville.
Emotional speakers talked about the tragedy of her young life cut short.
Fayetteville police say Erika drifted into the path of another car on Bingham Drive earlier this month.
Three people in the other vehicle were hurt, but they survived.
