VASS, N.C. (WTVD) -- A suspect is in custody following a double homicide investigation on Saturday morning in Moore County.
Deputies responded at 7:45 a.m. to a shooting report at a residence on Daphne Lane in Woodlake and found two people dead inside.
One victim was identified as 28-year old Matthew Wade, an active duty Army soldier stationed at Fort Bragg and originally from Mississippi.
The other victim is 21-year old Katerina Tovmash, a Ukrainian refugee who had been caring for her younger sisters.
Authorities identified the suspect as Kate's ex-boyfriend, 25-year-old Caleb Hayden Fosnaugh.

The suspect left the scene before authorities arrived. Warrants were issued on charges of breaking and entering and two counts of murder. Investigators say he left the county after the shooting.
MCSO Maj. Galloway told ABC11 that Fosnaugh was found and arrested in Ohio later Saturday. Sheriff Ronnie Fields later said Fosnaugh was arrested after continued coordination between Moore County investigators and authorities in Ohio.

"This is a tragic and senseless loss of life. Our hearts go out to the families of the victims during this difficult time," Fields said. "We are grateful for the swift coordination and assistance from our law enforcement partners in bringing this individual into custody."
Authorities said this was an isolated incident, with all involved believed to know each other, and there was no ongoing threat to the Woodlake community.

The Coshocton County (Ohio) Sheriff's Office, the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation all assisted, Fields said.
Detectives continue to actively investigate, Fields said.
