ABC11 Together joins in at the Football Food Drive in Cary

CARY, N.C. (WTVD) -- ABC11 Together was in Cary on Saturday where kids weren't just becoming better football players, they were learning to be more generous people.

Cary Coaching Precision held its annual Football Food Drive camp at Colonial Baptist Church off of Tryon Road.

This year's goal was to raise more than 1,500 pounds of canned goods in six hours. It will go toward the "Stop Summer Hunger" initiative, which ABC11 proudly sponsors.
