Scientists are trying to figure out if cell phones radiation can cause cancer.

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. (WTVD) -- Scientists gathered at Research Triangle Park Wednesday to discuss findings from a new study, trying to figure out if cell phone radiation will cause cancer.

The new research looks at whether phones would cause tumors to grow in rats.

The researchers decided there may be some evidence to support those claims.

The next step would be to write up a report and pass it along to the federal government to see if any regulations should be changed.
