RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Tuesday is another First Alert Day as a cold front moves across North Carolina.
Storms will develop late this morning in our western counties and track across the Triangle, bringing locally heavy downpours and gusty winds. As the line moves east of I95, some intensification is possible, including a low-end risk for a brief tornado.
Skies are clear tonight with a big drop in humidity.
Wednesday starts pleasantly and turns into a fantastic afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 80s.
Heat builds again on Thursday, followed by a hot Friday with an evening storm risk. The heat sticks around this weekend with late-day storm chances each afternoon.
Have a great day!
Steve Stewart
