Police seek Alamance County man in girlfriend's assault

BURLINGTON (WTVD) -- Burlington police are looking for a man they say assaulted his girlfriend.



The incident happened Monday afternoon at 1005 Chase Street, where police responded to a call. Officers found the woman with injuries from where the suspect allegedly squeezed his hands around her neck during an argument.



The victim was taken to Alamance Regional Medical Center where she was treated. She was later released.



Warrants are out for Jonathan Chandler Beam, 26, for assault by strangulation, assault on a female, communicating threats, and habitual misdemeanor assault.



It's not known whether Beam is still in Alamance County.
