Fire sweeps through Apex business

APEX, N.C. (WTVD) -- The investigation continues into what caused a fire Sunday afternoon at a business in Apex.

It happened in the 500 block of East Williams Street.

Workers at VapeTrik called 911 after noticing smoke.

Apex firefighters say the flames spread through the attic to two businesses nearby, as well as an empty office.

No one was hurt, but there is substantial damage to VapeTrik's office.
