Raleigh man charged with child rape

RALEIGH Poilce charged Samuel Lamont Richardson, 27, with one count of first degree rape of a child, two counts of first degree sex offense with a child, and two counts of indecent liberties with a child.

Warrants indicate the encounters occurred over a three-and-a-half year period beginning in December of 2006, and ending in June of 2010.

Richardson is being held on a $250,000 secured bond, and is due in court on Monday.

He was ordered by a Wake County Magistrate to have no contact with the victim by any means.
