Since the crash, officials have been searching for a 2000-2004 burgundy Buick Regal or Century. Friday, an officer spotted a 202 Buick Regal in Garner that had damage consistent with debris recovered after the crash.
Police arrested 26-year-old Bryant Devon Leach of Lunar Drive in Raleigh and charged him with felony hit-and-run.
The crash that happened on Weston Road seriously injured Alejandoro Lopez Ramos.
